VOCATIONAL TRAINING
We envision a world in which all people are contributing members of their families and communities.
Vocational training represents a core element of LifeHouse INC’s mission. Through our local network of affiliates, we offer opportunities for education and training that help with new skills and earn industry-recognized credentials that enable them to launch family-supporting careers with clear pathways for advancement.
Our programs serve both the unemployed as well as working adults who seek to improve their skills and their economic situation. We partner with employers to better understand their workforce needs and target sectors of the local economy at each site that offer current and future career opportunities. Our program graduates have been successfully placed in diverse careers in construction, entrepreneurship, manufacturing, the auto industry and the new energy and green economy
Work Readiness
Work readiness training programs prepare participants to secure, retain, and succeed in a new job. LifeHouse offers employability skills training to address important topics such as effective communication, problem solving, resume building, interviewing, and job search skills. Work readiness programs also help participants develop effective work habits that facilitate their ongoing success. On a local basis, our employer partners offer insights and information as to what it takes to succeed in their business.
Youth Development
